2020 is an important and crucial year for everyone. This election will shape and impact our community, especially black and brown, indigeious, trans, queer and non binary people of color. There is no doubt that the pandemic and the current political climate will have an effect in our upcoming elections; most importantly, we all have to do our part in order to elect leaders who represent the most oppressing challenges we are facing. Poder Latinx and ArizonaDrag.com have teamed up for a campaign to promote getting out the vote, voter education and voter protection. With Drag Artist being one of the most dominant figures in the LGBTQ+ community we are coming together to use the form of Drag to promote our mission of the campaign called DRAG VOTER SQUAD.
If you are a US citizen, are over 18, have never been convicted of a felony, and are an Arizona resident, you are eligible to vote in Arizona. (If you have been convicted of a felony, you may be able to restore your right to vote, or it may have been automatically restored - learn more here.)
You can get a ballot in the mail for every election. This is a safe and secure option and is a good choice for many voters, especially during this year's COVID-19 pandemic. To sign up to vote by mail, use the link below to re-register to vote. Make sure to check the box for automatically receiving an early ballot for every election.
After your ballot comes in the mail, fill it out and mail it back - it must arrive at your county elections department by Election Day. Or drop it off at any polling place in your county on Election Day.
You can also vote in person! Depending on your county, you may be able to go to any polling place, or you may have a specific assigned polling place.
