Entertainment Weekly reveal the premium subscription network’s queen docuseries We’re Here will premiere for free on YouTube for its debut episode.

We’re Here is a six-part unscripted series following small-town residents as they’re recruited and trained to participate in a one-night only drag performance. In each episode, former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela Laquifa Wadley will help prepare their “drag daughters” by teaching them how to step outside of their comfort zones.

This is the first time HBO has made a project available for free at the same time as its network premiere, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The premiere will feature a 30-minute special that will broadcast on HBO’s YouTube and Twitter pages and have guest celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Monet X Change, Hayley Kiyoko, Ellen Pompeo, Andrew Rannels and Naomi Watts.

HBO will be making a donation to both Free Mom Hugs and Mama Dragons and will also allow viewers to make donations also during the 30-minute special that will be live prior to the primer.

"This show is something powerful and moving, it’s emotional, and it also has that surprise production element that we were producing a one-night-only show in places that have hardly ever had them, to showcase that there’s this queer community [already there that] they didn’t even know existed." Said Shangela to EW

We’re Here will premiere Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 9:00 pm ET with the pre-show starting at 8:30 pm ET on HBO. For more information on We’re Here visit .hbo.com/were-here
