VH1 has announced on Thursday, August 20, 2020 that it has renewed RuPaul’s Drag Race for season 13, All-Stars 6 and Untucked.
“Drag queens have been on the frontlines of many challenging times in our history,” said RuPaul, franchise host and executive producer, said on the news in a press statement. “RuPaul’s Drag Race 12, All-Stars 6, and new season of Untucked will offer more opportunities for our queens to rise to the occasion and spread the love”
The last season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars just wrapped up in July and crowned Shea Coulee the queen entered into the RuPaul’s Drag Race Hall of Fame and the last season of RuPaul’s Drag Race wrapped up in May and crowned Jaida Essence Hall the reigning America’s Next Drag Superstar.
RuPaul’s Drag Race has been nominated for 10 Emmy’s and has improved in the ratings each season up 9 percent from its previous seasons. VH1 is set to launch a new docuseries RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue on Friday, August 21, 2020. Currently VH1 is showing the international spin-off, Canada’s Drag Race which is set to conclude September 3, 2020.
Premiere dates for RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 and All-Stars 6 have yet to be announced.
