The Show Bar at Cruisin ‘7th announced a new show coming to the venue on Saturday Nights. In a statement posted to their social media the venue announced Ms. Robin Banks will debut a new show.

“Robin Banks is a drag queen impresario who has been producing, performing and hosting shows, gigs and events around the United States for over 15 years. Ms. Banks is most notably known for her sharp tongue, gift for gab and her spot on Judy Garland impersonation” read the statement.

On the same day Saturday, January 16 Miss Gay Arizona America Espressa Grande announced that she has resigned from the venue and her show Thank Grande It’s Friday.

“My butch and beauty beans. I’ve sadly resigned from my every Friday night show at Cruisin ‘7th show lounge. This was a very tough decision but a smart one for me” read Espressa Statement posted to her social media

With the announcement of Ms. Robin Banks show, many were left wondering what was going to happen with the popular Lady & The Tramps Show. Our questioned were answered when Lady Christian posted her own statement Monday, January 18 with the following statement posted to her social media

“As you all know I have resigned as show director at Cruisin’ 7th. This was not a decision I made lightly, and honestly broke my heart to do. I try and put 100% of myself into what I do. I hope I didn’t let anyone down”

It’s unknown as of this time when Ms. Robin Banks' show will debut as Arizona is still trying to get a grip on the global pandemic. It’s also unknown on the future of Thank Grande It’s Friday and Lady & The Tramps.

The Cruisin’ 7th show lounge is still closed as of press time due to the rising concern over spiking COVID-19 cases in the Valley.

We are also making plans for the return of TGIF (Thank Grande it’s Friday) with your host Espressa Grande, Miss Gay Arizona America 2019&2020

A little background info for those of you that may not have known, when we made the decision to postpone shows last November due to rising Covid cases Lady Christian “made the decision to not return to the stage.” We feel grateful that she was our Saturday host for over 4 years. She will be missed. But with all endings there is the opportunity for great new beginnings and as we start 2021 it couldn’t be more welcome.

Thank you for your continued support.

Please stay safe and wear your mask.

Statement from Espressa Grande:

My butch and beauty beans. I’ve sadly resigned from my every Friday night show at Cruisin' 7th show lounge. This was a very tough decision but a smart one for me. Thank you to the bar and staff for teaching me so much about myself. This pandemic has brought forth so much sadness but within that sadness comes beauty and elevation.

This is not goodbye to TGIF. So much amazing things are coming in next year, so no sadness!!! Just know this big swollen queen of the lord is brewing up the perfect cup of elevation!

Statement from Lady Christin:

We all know how rough times have been on everyone the last year. Those of us who work in entertainment and service and healthcare particularly. One thing I have learned this year is to know my worth. Value myself and my time. Desire what I want and reach to have it fulfilled. No ties, no restrictions. Stop putting off life and live in reality. Take time for those you love. Stop putting off those trips and dreams. If not now, when?

As you all know I have resigned as show director at Cruisin' 7th. This was not a decision I made lightly, and honestly, broke my heart to do. I try and put 100% of myself into what I do. I hope I didn't let anyone down.

My cast members each month thank you! Thank you all for sharing your talents with my audience. To the staff, God bless you for putting up with my ass, making sure I was taken care of and always got home safe. I will miss working with you all most.

I'll see you on a stage, or Facebook live soon! Jewelry is coming back soon! Life is coming back soon, and most importantly, I'm coming back soon!

The last 4 years have been a blast. We were successful because of all of you!
