The Continental Pageantry System has announced the postponement of Miss Continental Elite / Plus 2020. The announcement came via a Facebook post on Jim Flint Facebook page on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
It was previously announced on May 6, 2020 that Mr. & Miss Continental was postponed for the 2020 season and that Miss Continental Elite & Plus would take place on Labor Day Weekend 2020 pending final approval in August 2020.
“I feel it’s best to announce that we will postpone Miss Continental Plus and Elite, until Easter weekend 2021, We all feel that the health and safety of our very large Continental Family is the most important thing.” said Flint
If you have previously qualified for the 2020 season you will remain qualified for the Pageant in 2021. Both reigning title holders Darcell Stevens and A'zsia Dupree will remain title holders until the pageant resumes in 2021.
A live video with a full explanation is slated to be aired in a day or so.
